Went shopping a bit today. Turns out Vienna has really good specialty stores for makers! Like a huge art supply store, a chemical supplier that sells to consumers, and a store that only sells spray paints. Gave them a failed 3D print and they gave me a color-matched spray can for 4€!

My first try printing ABS was a success, the parts turned out really well. Also turns out that I like the sweet, poisonous smell of the styrene emitted during printing, the smell of progress. It's like the sick pleasure from the smell you get when pumping gasoline.

Just received the last shipment of #Voron parts, shipments weighing in at a whopping 39.2 kg! Of that, 250 g was dedicated to gummy bears.
That gives a gummy bear to printer kit ratio of approximately 0.0064, or 2.7 gummy bears per kilo of printer kit.

Sometimes I thank myself for thinking ahead. Looks like the battery I selected to power my #Protogen is just under the limit, so I can take it on an airplane. With 10% more capacity, I'd have to leave it behind 👀

Finally managed to complete VR room calibration and set up the dongle hell for full-body tracking. After over half a year without VRChat, it looks like I've lost my VR legs and the VR neck, which are needed for the 1.6kg Varjo XR-3 Pipe Bomb Edition.

I've tried to get my hands on a #PrusaXL for over two months, but failed due to communication and issues with B2B-billing. Cancelled the order. Instead, I ordered a Voron V2.4 r2 350mm kit, which I'll upgrade to multi-toolhead. Soon I can print huge foam parts and #Protogen helmets in one piece.

Still in Finland; the flight was cancelled last minute as many planes were stuck in Lapland due to the storm, and they didn't have the Airbus for the morning flight. Oh well. Better burn the lounge access points on my credit card. New flight booked with a change in Munich. yle.fi/a/74-20201613

Last time I visited my mom, I set up a password manager for her so she wouldn't keep passwords on paper or have to remember them. She lost the master password 😭
