Haven’t been a NYer (state) in decades so I’m going to refrain from giving my opinion about who should be elected mayor of NYC.

Out-of-state pundits and yahoos should do the same. It’s not your city is it.

But damn! Cuomo running? Really? The mind it boggles. And not in a good way.

Watched an ISROn (India) rocket launch this morning. Not a huge rocket but the excitement was. All the local schools must have taken 5e day off to go watch.

Nice to see there are still non-rocket nerds being excited about rocket launches.

SpaceX has made rockets boringly common.

Wanted to see what Trump would have said when the Blue Jays won the World Series. I bet the anti-Canada rant would have been off the wall.

Will not be surprised if DJT attempts to pardon his buddy former-Prince Andrew for “Epstein related activities” and adding more UK tariffs when he discovers he doesn’t have the power to do that.

Seems like a Mad King Trump kind of thing to do.

If the Dodgers win the World Series, will Trump invite them to the White House? He does love a winner, but it’s LA.

If the Blue Jays win… another tariff on Canada? Or claim it was a rigged game?

Because he’s unlikely to invite THEM to the White House. Unless he gets a large ballroom “donation” !!

It's Not-the-NaNoWriMo Challenge month.

NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) died in 2024. It had a good run. The website finally died this past summer.

But that doesn't mean people can't attempt to write a short novel (50K words, or more) for November.

But how will you know if you've "won"?
