I’ve been trying to avoid wading into this controversy, but I guess I have to say something. Laketown? Insanely presumptuous. I don’t know any body of water that isn’t at least a little offended by that name.

New Year’s resolution: I’d like to drop my tides by a foot or two. I’ve been retaining water and I want to get my beaches beach-ready early this year.

Finally got a chance to see War of the Rohirrim. Enjoyable, but unfortunately it continues the trend of media too-often depicting bodies of water with lurking dangers… like, we don’t all have Watchers in our water!
