Mawnin’. Have a happy Sunday. I plan to dig up in the garden.
Toothbrush from sage, I mean.😁
I do prefer the brooms made of palm leaves. Some enterprising person should start up a biz and call it eco-friendly.

Sage (the plant) can grow big and the stems can be pounded until they look like brushes. There’s a tree in the backyard here, I might try it out. I could make a video.
Mum told me that in the old days, they made brushes with sage sticks.
Whoa. This is sooo cool!! How’s the toothbrush?
It depends on if the cook makes it with lots of pepper. My mother didn’t because some of us hated spicy food. Too much pepper can spoil the flavour of the stew sauce, I find.

Here in Jamaica we could do much more with bamboo (using the non-native, invasive species).
Bamboo can be more than a crop when grown the right way.

This new UN World Restoration Flagship is using bamboo to help communities reduce poverty, create livelihoods and has already restored 200,000ha.

Congratulations to this #GenerationRestoration initiative! https://ow.ly/X6Cu50Xesyo
Planning to read this. There are soooooo many things we can do with bamboo. I’ve seen fabulous bamboo houses online (before AI😀) I once mentioned on Twitter (when it was Twitter) that someone should start making toothbrush handles with bamboo.
I would say pepperpot…an Amerindian stew. The sauce is made with cassareep (boiled down cassava juice).

"AI is creating a generation who can produce passable work but don’t have any usable knowledge or understanding of the material"

Humankind has proved itself to be stupid enough without any help from machine learning, thank you

Are we living in a golden age of stupidity?
From brain-rotting videos to AI creep, every technological advance seems to make it harder to work, remember, think and function independently …

Everyone, everywhere, loves talking about #food but, I can assure you, no other people can out talk the people of #Guyana when it comes to food. 😅
Free rollercoaster ride: taking care of my elderly mum. Yesterday, upset, today, wake up, heartbroken. This video cheers me. When she comes out from the bathroom, I will show it to her. (I’m always looking for happy videos to show her.) #caregiving

Food is life.
Food is land.
Food is roots.
Food is memory.
Food is a right, not a privilege.

On this #WorldFoodDay, as we mark #FAO80, let's all walk together #HandinHand.

Honour our roots and cultivate innovation. Harvest a better future for all.

#4Betters #BetterTogether
How does food, lack of food, affect you and the people around you? (Coming up Sunday, two food #stories…)

Just done walking with Aged M. She looks at everything and we make up stuff about what it looks like.
I’m laughing and crying 😅
Tell me this didn’t happen for real, please. 😩😄😃
💔 When I read things like this, I think about the citizens, where will they go?
