Office Visit, wip
A ginger gentleman with rectangular glasses sits in a wingback chair with his fingers steepled, looking contemplative and melancholy. I'm a giant sadomasochist and can't practice normally, so I did this shit. My goals were to study ice, water, and to go ham twisting up some tentacles. And also to use a very limited palette of colors. You know, for funsies. I feel like I learned a lot about drawing ice, especially.

Below it, a blood-colored sea of scattered ice floes whispers up the shore. A red-haired figure, sodden, as if having just washed up on the beach, slouches on the sand and looks out at the ocean. There's a large snail perched on his lap and he's flanked by a scattering of odd, crimson orchids clinging to rocks. In the middle, purple tentacles with green suction cups wind vageuly from left to right, seeming to come from nowhere, or perhaps the land itself, it's unclear, but there are more crimson orchids tangled in the bottom few. On the right, icicles large enough to stand on drip diagonally right, sheltering another figure, this one pale and in dark clothes with a belt of bones hanging around his waist and a mask shrouding his features. He is posed as though looking on at the water-logged ginger in amusement. It's unclear how far apart the two are in space, or even if they inhabit the same world; the man on the beach doesn't seem to know he's being watched. Speech balloons indicate that "she fucking slit my throat", although the redhead also is thinking "holy shit" with a heart beside it. The snail is making a crying/laughing face, anf the masked man's thought bubble has him signing "LMAO" in ASL.
