Hi there!
I'm a solo roleplaying enthusiast who joined here in order to follow cool people that are in that hobby and maybe also post my thoughts about it.
P.S. I realise I've been inactive for a while, but that was precisely because I found the character limit here constricting; I had been thinking about making a new blog for months but only now finally acted on it.
Just got around to listening to this episode, and it was a pretty cool listen. I tried that method myself half a month ago (coincidentally with another adventure from 1shotadventures), and it worked quite well. Overall, I want to try it again, now with rulebooks, and even with novels I haven't read.
So Tana Pigeon of Mythic came recently posited a new technique for playing published adventures solo. I got in the mic with her where she explained the system and we did a live example.
Check it out

This was precisely the game that (indirectly) got me into #solorpg . Because I liked it so much, that I looked for other games like it, and on a Reddit thread I read (iirc) someone recommended Ironsworn, which is how I found out I could play #ttrpg games by myself; the rest is history (so to speak).
Have any of my lovely followers played Roadwarden? I just started it and I think TTRPG nerds would love to pick up what it's putting down (it's a text based RPG game)
Note to self: When playing #solorpg , don't ask questions the answer to which you might not like. Also make things you want to happen, happen instead of asking. Due to not following these, I almost stalled one of the games I'm playing rn, and had to retcon stuff (at least I salvaged it that way).
And finally:
8) Insurgent (capacle.itch.io/insurgent) by Cezar Capacle. The idea of playing an insurgent seems interesting, and I also liked the layout of the pdf; it's clean, but also evocative.
This is only part of what the bundle has, so I'd encourage you to get it to also support a good cause.

7) Riftbreakers (blackoath.itch.io/riftbreakers) by Blackoath. The MMORPG setting seems pretty unique. It seems rather crunchy rules-wise though. In the bundle are also two more games from the creator, the grim, soulslike-ish Sacrifice, and its related wargame Warlord Ascendant.

6) Skyrealms (the-lost-bay.itch.io/skyrealms) by IKO. This seems like a pretty interesting and unique setting. And it includes a solo adventure too. In the bundle are also included two more minidungeon supplements, which could potentially be soloable as well.

5) Runecairn Wardensaga and its bestiary (byodinsbeardrpg.itch.io/runecairn-be...) By Odin's Beard RPG. I got the former from the Solo but Not Alone Bundle 5, but this bundle includes both it and its bestiary, which adds even more monsters and stuff, so that was a nice bonus.

4) QZ (jasontocci.itch.io/qz) by Jason Tocci. Looking at it, it has some pretty evocative tables for use with STALKER-like settings and stories. And I also like its illustrations quite a bit. I'm definitely going to use it when I play something with such a setting.

3) Hiria: the Eternal City (jimmyshelter.itch.io/hiria) by JimmyShelter. Its premise seems interesting, chasing someone over different versions of a city. I also listened to a podcast episode about it (from @techrovert.bsky.social 's podcast Your Story Will Be Different) which was pretty nifty.

And now stuff (not all of them necessarily solo) I haven't tried yet, but, leafing through them, look interesting:
2) Exploration Cycle (verdant-core.itch.io/exploration-...) by @verdantcore.bsky.social. This is a pretty good and simple hexcrawling procedure - in fact it's the only one that clicked with me. And it even includes rules for task resolution and combat, so that no other rpg system is needed to play.

1) Creation Myths (gothhoblin.itch.io/creation-myths) by @gothhoblin.me. This is a journaling game about a character on a journey; both are created by random prompts. In my playthrough, I got a pretty unique MC, and the resulting story was also one of my most memorable #solorpg experiences.

Just bought this great bundle and have been sifting through the stuff it contains. And there's some #solorpg stuff that drew my interest, and that I'd like to highlight so that other people get to see them as well. First I'll start with a couple of things I already had and tried before this bundle:
Finally, the time has come.

I hadn't gotten wind of this update - cool! I bought the previous version when it was on sale a few days back, and was positively surprised that the new one doesn't need to be rebought. And the new changes are definitely very welcome improvements over a product that already looked pretty good.

Just finished the journaling #solorpg Autumn Bells: A New Class. This time my character was a university student. Unfortunately, most of the prompts I got were of a more mundane (rather than magical) nature, so I wasn't inspired very much. Still, it was a decent sibling game to the previous one.
Great post. I'd also add that a major reason to try #solorpg is if you're someone who would normally be a player, but there's literally nobody else interested in #ttrpgs in your area, so you have to put the GM hat on as well if you want to play anything.
Next up I'll play the related journaling #solorpg Autumn Bells: A New Class (jthewolfmanm.itch.io/autumn-bells...). This'll probably be more typical, since it's about a student this time, but I'll use as a setting the same school as the previous game in order to use events and characters from there.

Just finished the journaling #solorpg Autumn Bells. Due to a random card draw, my character was a teacher at... kindergarten (that for sure was original then). Highlights included a rampage of magic monsters, an antagonistic parent, a school inspection, and magic going haywire. In short, it was fun.
Just got around to watching this, and thought it was very well made, and of professional quality (so it deserves more exposure). It outlines how the game is and the basic rules very well, so I'll check it again after buying the game. I subscribed to the channel and hope he'll keep up the good work.
Next up I'm going to play another underrated journaling #solorpg called Autumn Bells (jthewolfmanm.itch.io/autumn-bells). This is about a teacher in a magic school, and various events during their career there. It'll probably be interesting to play from a pov other than the usual student one.

Just finished today a cozy journaling #solorpg called Equinox (sheric.itch.io/equinox). It's about someone living in the woods with their pet in the month between winter and spring. It involves growing seedlings, as well as various cozy events. Overall it's the perfect game to play during February.

Not really imo. The game loop is simple: roll d6 for the seedlings growth, and then draw a playing card for an event. But you don't have to write that much; the events do pose followup questions, but you can write as much as you want really (I usually write no more than a couple paragraphs).
