I drew a chibi Marc Marquez, the MotoGP rider, laying down feeling tired and sighing, wearing his red leather suit (minus the helmet), while Miss K, an Indonesian ghost, sitting on top of him. This phenomenon is known in Indonesia as “ketempelan”—which, in Indonesian urban legend, means that a ghost/spirit is latching on to you, for various reasons, it might be just fond of you, or with more malicious intent like draining your energy, luck, soul, etc

And this illustration is a reference to Marc Marquez’s fourth consecutive DNF/S in Indonesian Grand Prix’s Mandalika Circuit ever since its GP debut in 2022, which means he hasn’t finished any main race in this particular circuit. I hope he can make it next season!
