Utopia fan club is finally relevant. There are dozens of us - dozens!!!
But does it have Utopia????
I’m still mad that iCards is gone. Sending personalized physical cards to relatives with photos I took the same day won me so many family points.
This was a good poast. Timely and timeless.
Dooooo ittttt!

90% of my fancy PC use is the kid and I playing 15 year old co-op Lego games.

Worth it.
@seanfennessey.bsky.social Your Physical Media episode is the best thing I've heard - ever. Genuinely, thank you for putting this together. Now what charity can we donate to so we get the roundtable with the just the four spouses giving their opinions on your collecting hobby?!
In-house counsel for almost a decade and it is life changing with the right team. Can't recommend it highly enough for those looking.
The Onion does amazing work with one headline.

Observations so far from watching the first NFL game on YouTube:

1. The ios app isn't great at switching from window to full screen;
2. Yes, I will buy a Minivan built by Lucid because Timmy Chalamet (but really 450 miles on a charge - if true);
3. I'm glad football is back on.

It was an honor to co-program a Robert Altman collection with @criterion.bsky.social to pair with our Hall of Fame episode of The Big Picture coming in September. Altman means a lot to me, hope you enjoy.
I feel the urge to start listing evangelical teen movements from the 90s as penance. Spoilet alerts for those fortunate enough to have missed them?
Dann it. Now I feel like I need to watch this.
I have vivid memories of sitting through Ken Ham’s 12 part video lectures on creation and anti-evolution logic when they were shown at my evangelical high school.
Watching this triggered a high school memory of a coach saying:

“Shaq can’t make free throws. Don’t be like him.”

And all of us freshman thinking “Naw, we’d trade with Shaq any day.”
Perfect for a Friday night at the start of summer.
Potaroma makes some great toys. The recharable 3-1 hide and seek is awesome. Been months and they still go for it.
Frida’s is great! It’s becoming a North County staple around here!
Great Saturday night watch.

But I want the backstory on the original pitch, shopping it around, and the evolution (mixed with covid) that led to this.

Also, the fully automatic pistols with unlimited ammo kind of feel like a cheat code here.
This post is made even better because I can hear your podcast voice in my head. Well done.
To my discredit, I didn’t know we had a basketball team until the spring of my senior year.

Go Tritons!
Comparing this with San Diego taco shop prices and silently crying into my quesadilla.
You take that extra half hour to browse the isles. You deserve it after this weekend.

(I can identify.)
