Here for the @amermathsoc.bsky.social sectional meeting in #StLouis. Awake because I'm on eastern time.
Would a micro pig be a micro purchase?
Oh, and the most useless was \tensor for \otimes
Probably the most useful macro I've ever defined is \inv for ^{-1}
The little paper on the end of my tea bag string is missing. I can only surmise that I have somehow consumed it. Send help.
Doing mandatory grant training through Workday. Any purchase under $10,000 is a "micro purchase" and a "small purchase" is between $10,000 and $250,000. Considering the size of my grant, I don't think most of this presentation applies to me.
Well, I got my 4 month math reviews reminder, so I guess that means I can delete my 2 month reminder. #mathsky
Krull versus global dimension in noetherian PI rings sounds like the title of a bad B-movie. #mathsky

Book #15 of 2025: The Midnight Library by Matt Haig @matthaig.bsky.social. Interesting concept that explores the nature of regret and the different paths our life can take.
Burning them is bad for the environment. Have you considered just eating them?
It's hard to take a paper seriously when 10 of the 12 references are self citations.
Book #14 of 2025: Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut. Probably my third or fourth read of this book. I need to make a more regular habit of getting to the Granfalloon in Bloomington every year. Last time I went I caught a fantastic concert by the Flaming Lips.
AMS does this in Notices.
Oh, so now my wife thinks we need to get our air ducts cleaned.
"You will become good friends with C[x_1,...,x_n], and friendly acquaintances with F_p[x_1,...x_n]." And then there is H[x_1,...,x_n], which is like the weird noncommutative uncle that sometimes shows up to family gatherings.
