The Central Park Five—whom Trump wanted executed for a crime they did not commit—were 14 to 16 years old.
NEW @motherjones.com: Nobody in that GOP group chat praising Hitler or making racist comments was a “kid,” as JD Vance claimed today

I tracked down their ages. (Weirdly, it seems nobody else did.)

Eight of the 11 in the group chat range from 24 to 35. Ages of others are unclear.

But… no “kids”!
No one in the GOP Hitler chat was a "kid"
We checked. Sorry, JD Vance.

That makes me feels sad for so many reasons
Baseball postseason means seeing Fox commercials and realizing that THESE are the tv shows that some people are watching. Illuminating stuff.
Good Jazz developments: Georges Niang (left foot) was out of the boot today and getting shots up at practice.
Walker Kessler was a full participant today.
Ace Bailey had a quick sub in the second quarter and went back to the locker room. Jazz say he won't return tonight (bilateral knee soreness).
Saw him limping just a tiny bit in those last couple minutes but didn't see any specific injury or collision occur.
Let’s goooooooooooooooo

Asked Nuggets head coach David Adelman about John Collins: "I thought it was interesting that there wasn't more attention given to that addition."
I hear you…but I feel like if Taylor is committed to the braids then we can use it. But if he lets his hair out, we’re on
Kyle Filipowski (lower back), Walker Kessler (left shoulder) and Lauri Markkanen (left wrist) were all full practice participants for the Jazz today.

Kyle Anderson (right knee tendinitis) did not participate in practice.
Pain comes with fandom. But it should be for the normal reasons (or at least more normal) than the owner intentionally telling the fans they aren’t good enough and that the city sucks.
F*** it. I’m a Mariners fan.
Tonight, @colyou.bsky.social said “Sports are supposed to be fun. Are John Fisher and the A’s fun?”
And the answer is no. Unless he dies or sells the team and they return to Oakland, I just can’t. That part is painful. But cheering for a fun team tonight was great.
Excellent
The boo birds were out in full force for WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert 👀
Aces winning a title, Mariners tied ongoing....and I'm watching overtime of Utah Jazz preseason ball.

The Ace Bailey shot selection is not something I'm going to really concern myself with early on. I expect it to be questionable. Some NBA film and time to learn should help to clean it up.
Things on my mind while I watch the Jazz's first preseason game: keeping an eye on who starts, comes off the bench, even with all the injuries; does Cody Williams disappear; Taylor's minutes; Taylor's burst and landings; defensive possessions in general, is anyone doing anything?
