Sociology is running two study abroad programs next summer and if you're interested, we need you to get signed up ASAP! The deadline for enrollment is February 15 and we need a minimum of 10 students in each program to be committed before we can guarantee it's a go. Scan the QR codes for details!

Our series on famous sociology majors continues with American former professional soccer player Megan Rapinoe, who earned her Bachelor's degree in sociology in 2008 from the University of Portland. Says Rapinoe: "One cannot simply outperform inequality."

Next week the Martin Springer Institute is bringing Dr. Helene Sinnreich, co-editor-in-chief of Holocaust and Genocide Studies, as part of their year-long speaker series on “Holocaust and Beyond: Weaponizing Hunger." This is sure to be an interesting lecture from an expert in the field!
