311 (and counting) - the number of clubs that Wenger players played for after Arsenal

Yes, I've been building a map of The Professor's influence on the beautiful game starting with the clubs that had a former Wenger first-team player join them to play, coach, or work.

I think going into it on a high has made this interlull feel longer than usual.
Hello neighbor! Keep fighting the good fight.
I'm only just scratching the surface too. The more I dig, the deeper the rabbit hole goes!
Good morning gents. If Premier League managers were dogs, what would they be?

I think Arteta would be a highly trained Dobermann Pinscher, Amorim a sad Bichon Frise puppy, and Slot a grumpy French Bulldog. What do you think?

Refs having an absolute nightmare in this game
That was a truly obnoxious call
It hasn't recently been a partey at arsenal on those fronts either.

I'm just hoping for a PL & a CL trophy for the club before it's gone forever.
Thank goodness it's a good one!
Can Wenger be a true global influence without that?
Are you saying you don't like soggy tasteless nuts that can also somehow break your teeth while chewing on a mouthful of nothing?
The number of unique countries in each continent for which a former Wenger Arsenal player played or coached soccer:

26 - Europe
16 - Asia
5 - North America
4 - South America
4 - Africa
1 - Australia
0 - Antarctica

Love how @aallensport.arseblog.com just casually drops some deep philosophy at the very end of this in-depth and fantastic piece

If you have opinions on this and are on the club's mailing list there was an e-mail sent out today surveying fans about attitudes towards their brand partners.

A huge part of this is the community. I’m so inspired to be learning alongside other brilliant Fellows who are tackling major challenges and our amazing mentors.

Feeling immensely grateful and ready to get to work. Conservation is under signficant threat and it's time to respond! 💪
So, how are we using AI? We're building practical tools to:

🌳 Identify the most critical land that needs protection
🏡 Show landowners the ecological & financial benefits of conservation
🐝 Boost biodiversity and help our local ecosystems thrive

This fellowship is a massive boost for my work in conservation.

For those who don't know, our mission is to use emerging tech to help protect the beautiful mountains and wild spaces we're so lucky to have here in Asheville and beyond. 🌲🏔️

Some big news on a personal front... I’m thrilled to share that I've been selected for a 2025 Google Community Fellowship by Watson Institute!

Feeling so honored and excited to use this opportunity to grow my work in conservation tech. 🚀
Good point about the ratio of NFL games. I can see the logic for soccer if I squint hard enough, but the NFL? Pure cash grabs.

I'm guessing it's all going to end in football/soccer seasons incorporating global tours, much like a live music act. Ford Field home games will be 16 teams & 1 Lions game!
It's odd to say a League champion manager hasn't proven himself yet, but that's exactly how I feel about Slot. All the momentum in the world + half a billion dollars and they're relying on a handful of last-minute smash & grabs to be in second place.
The left side is finally coming to life as well so we can expect goal distribution to be very different than previous seasons. Once we get going, this should unsettle defenses even further, creating more scoring opportunities, and more goals.

Should... :)
I was ready to end my 20+ year relationship with Arsenal when the Super League was announced. Now they're going to build the Super League piece-by-piece instead of all at once.

I suppose it was always going to happen. UEFA & FIFA always get their share of the pie.
