She should have been spending the last ten years vibing with a nice glass of brandy at home. Seriously though, if the regular working retirement age is 67 or whatever then shouldn't everyone do that? WE COULD HAVE AN "EMERITUS" title if they want. where they can be part of the sounding board?

can you tell the closest to Geogoraphy of NY I have is either Word of Mouth (an aunt from a step-grandomther lives in binghampton, has horses) or went there for guide dog school (yorktown heights) or just various Facts (state capitol, a regional dish...)

there are so many places up there! Rochester, Binghampton, Albany, Yorktown, a town about a half hour past Yorktown that has a train station... Also the difference between PA and NY when driving into it is not noticeable.

I can't tell if I should be glad or not that my local facebook group and NextDoor doesn't discuss this stuff. Feels like this school district is always going through it. Think its been in debt since before I graduated, 13 years ago. Though hey, at least our local mayor isn't the same as the big city
