Rep. McClain Delaney said "she’d heard from constituents who encouraged her to support the bill." I personally called her office and told her NOT to vote for Laken Riley Act. She did anyway. I then emailed her pointing out my disappointment for her misguided vote.

I feel this immense honor of knowing the Díaz family. They came from Venezuela years ago & had 2 children Melanie &Cesar. In a tragic incident, Melanie was found unconscious during massive fire in SS. The family took tragedy into fire safety advocacy&gifted smoke safety hoods to protect fire victims

Stopped by John F. Kennedy High School in Glenmont to congratulate and give County Citations to the talented students who earned national recognition this year, taking home two Student Production Awards from the Emmy Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Highlights: Kicked off with Committee for Montgomery’s Legislative Breakfast, then joined the ribbon cutting ceremony for the shared cold storage facility in East County to provide healthy food to thousands of local residents, then headed to WAMU’s The Politics Hour! 💃🏻
