The area of wind that prompted the severe thunderstorm warning in northern Davidson has been cancelled. The winds have died down a below severe criteria. Please let us know if you see any damage using #tspotter in your post. Wind and rain have not mostly cleared I65 to east. Things should be calming

Our cold front is still marching eastward, occasionally packing some 50-55 mph wind gusts. It's a battle between very warm air and very cold air...and it's churning things up quite a bit. So, don't be surprised if you get a quick gust or two. 9:32 pm

Forecast update from NWS Nashville. Wind Advisory in effect from 5 PM today through 6 AM Monday. Gusts of 40+mph possible. HRRR believes a thin line of rain will pass by with the front at ~10pm. Wind is still the main story. Secure loose decorations and visiting relatives.
