As a Neptune builder and Mega Everdrive Pro owner, I am very interested in how this could be possible. I can’t seem to get SMS to work on my Neptune either. I’ve tried both with an Everdrive and a hardware adapter with real cartridges.
Awesome! Was definitely going to ask this. I love watching your stuff on YouTube but also love it when “Podcasts” are open standard and platform-agnostic. Been watching this one for about an hour and it is AWESOME! My dream team podcast for sure!
Definitely DM me if you want help getting started or if you have questions.
I finally have 100% completed my @cosam-the-great.bsky.social Sega Neptune build. I got an excellent 3D print of DVIZIX’s shell and some decals. I’m really happy with how this turned out and it is really fun playing on a Sega console that I built. Def got some childhood wish fulfillment going here.
Appreciate you. Glad you are taking care of yourself
And it is supported on Synology. Hmmmm, I’ve never really looked into this but I definitely will be now.
That is fascinating. Literally the second thing I was wondering (after “is this getting a physical NES cart release?”) was “who is the rightsholder LRG negotiated with to pull this one off?”
This is definitely the question I have
As a hardcore “Sonic games on Genesis” fan, I really want to love these games but just can’t seem to get into the groove when I fire them up. I think the missing ingredients are youth, loads of free time, and very few other games to play. I definitely had all that when I was playing the Genesis ones
Can’t wait to build this. I read on The Verge that you plan on offering the bare boards so we can solder on our own chips from broken Game Boy Pockets. What a cool way to breathe life back into a dead console.

Why is everyone talking about modern AAA games when you can just play the Sega Saturn instead
What I would do for the 3DS Mega Man Legends 3 prototype.
Sega CD. I’ve got two of them now. That’ll show childhood me not to be poor.
For #randomgamesaturday I have Albert Odyssey for Sega Saturn. Ok, maybe it isn’t so random since I did another Working Designs game last week. This one is a classic JRPG and is the gaming equivalent of comfort food for me. You basically know exactly what you’re going to get here. It’s a good time.
In Summer 2026?! How on earth does that improvement (that should have been the original behavior) take over half a year to implement?
Definitely more interested in your implementation. Can’t wait to hear more!

yeah this is breathtaking
God never thought I'd be crying listening to Guile's theme @goldenboy.pro @sharpiepls.com @sajamfgc.bsky.social
🎂 For Yoko Shimomura's 58th birthday, we posted @mkvaff.bsky.social's solo piano arrangement that he made both in her honor as well as for the family that inspired him to make music.

A beautiful rendition of Guile's theme, SHARE IT! :-)

That’s so cool. I recently purchased a relatively inexpensive handheld one to learn on. I used it to troubleshoot a Sega Neptune I built and I really enjoyed the process. Sure enough, I was able to isolate my problem and fix it! Great tool!
@neighbor.bsky.social A Shortcut on your Mac to export your calendar as images and maybe this?
Why has no one ever made a Street Fighter RPG?
For #randomgamesaturday, I’ve got Popful Mail for the Sega CD. This is a Working Designs Game so, of course, it has a unique/bizarre localization, ramped up difficulty, and their characteristic voice acting. It’s a really fun game though and I wish there were more ways for people to enjoy in English
But Z-A isn’t a key card? Or has the fact of key cards just kind of poisoned the whole concept for you? I really hate game key cards and plan on not ever buying one but I do still want to buy the few standard game cartridges that exist for Switch 2.
Which set is this? The B&O?
