Some of my favorite shots of the 2020s (so far):
My thoughts on Peacemaker season 2, as said by the great Colonel Rick Flag:
Grasso was redeemed in Task, just like I said he would be. I may not have been in love with Task, but it was a good show. It could have been great. For what it is, though, it’s an enjoyable watch.
Peacemaker season 2 was certainly a show. I have my issues with it, but I don’t think it’s actively bad. I definitely prefer season 1 for its character interactions and smaller moments. I hate to say it, but we need some Gunn control.
This is the Rams team I’ve been waiting for all season. And we didn’t even have Puka!
Apparently LMNT is in the middle of a big lawsuit because they’ve been putting maltodextrin in their electrolyte mixes. Yikes. I’ve always been a Nuun guy, so I’m not worried, but the lack of transparency isn’t cool. Maltodextrin can give some runners GI issues. Which is the last thing we want.
We have one more episode to go. I believe Grasso will redeem himself by protecting Maeve. All of this is to say that the best characters are always the human, flawed characters in these stories. I just do not care about Tom at all. It’s so hard to be invested in his story.
Given that Grasso was the mole, I assume the writers want me to see him brought to justice… but I don’t. Grasso was the only member of the task force that was even remotely interesting, and in the end he was still trying to protect Lizzie.
There are so many other actors that could have fit this role better. I’m also not a big fan of Robbie as a character. Though I can appreciate the cat and mouse dynamic between Tom and Robbie. The most interesting characters in the show are Maeve, Grasso, and Perry.
Task is a really frustrating show. It has the potential to be a great show… if anyone other than Mark Ruffalo was cast as the lead. He just doesn’t have the screen presence to portray a grieving and haunted crime fighter battling addiction.

She really does. I consider myself a fan. Folklore and evermore are two of my favorite albums of this decade, but I have no idea what The Life of a Showgirl is. It’s so detached and uninspired.
I think Taylor Swift might be washed. What is this new album? Max Martin tries so hard to elevate this album with his production, but these lyrics are an affront to Taylor Swift’s previous work. She has stagnated since folklore/evermore.
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone is the greatest female athlete alive. Her performance in the 400m was effortless. She is the consummate professional and continues to outdo herself. I hope she attempts the double in LA. She will break the 400m world record. Generational talent. It’s so fun to watch her.

I’m proud of this one, and considering how fast it vaulted into the top five, I think the people agree.
The inline 4 is one of my favorite things about Honda. My first bike was a 2013 Ninja 400. I upgraded to a 2022 Honda CBR650 a few years ago. Never looked back. It’s perfect for commuting, city riding, cruising. Have fun, man.
I’m not the biggest fan of Mark Ruffalo as an actor, but Task has all the makings of a great show. I’m excited to see where it goes. It helps that it’s from the creators of Mare of Easttown, which was fantastic.
Great first bike. The mid sized Hondas are very forgiving.
My hard hitting analysis of Stick: it’s Cobra Kai, but with golf, so it’s less cool. There also isn’t a single character in Stick as compelling or layered as Johnny Lawrence.
I finished Stick today, and while I liked it, I found the majority of the characters to be wildly unlikable except for Pryce and Mitts. And Judy Greer. I could never dislike Judy Greer.

Nevertheless, it was extremely satisfying to watch Noah Lyles run down Tebogo. Noah will win the double in Tokyo, and his haters will be in shambles — as usual.
