As Bally Midway were eyeing the impact of the "video craze" and the then-impending irrelevance of pinball, Mr. & Mrs. Pac-Man was developed in 1982 to provide some life support for the pinball market using the immense popularity of Pac-Man.

In 2012, Namco Museum DS and the DS version of Pac-Man World 3 were re-released together in a bundle for $19.99.

Namco Museum Vol. 1 was released 30 years ago today in Japan. This was part of a series of PlayStation game compilations of Namco’s classic arcade library. The PS Namco Museum series featured an interactive museum with exhibits and unique game rooms.

It's Nov 22nd in Japan which means it's the 30th anniversary of Namco Museum Vol. 1

These days thanks to Hamster & Namco, we also have home ports of games like Aqua Jet & Tokyo Wars which didn't even exist in arcades when Vol.1 released
