Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS was being developed at the same time Pac-Man's Ghostly Adventures era was in full swing.

Despite this, Masahiro Sakurai went with Pac-Man's iconic look, and would've considered dropping the character altogether if he had to use the redesign.

Two Game Boy Advance games from Namco were added to the Nintendo Switch Online service: Mr. Driller 2 and Klonoa: Empire of Dreams, which was developed by Now Production, the game developer behind the Pac-Man World Re-Pac series.

Namja Town is an indoor amusement park originated by Namco located inside Sunshine City in Tokyo. The cat-themed park opened in 1996. Attractions include gyoza and ice cream restaurants, interactive exhibits, games, and a cat cafe.

Neon Genesis Evangelion premiered 30 years ago today. Creator Hideaki Anno also created Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water. In 1991, Nadia was adapted for the Sega Mega Drive by Namco.
