distracting, enthralling,

nose and whiskers,
quick breaths,

Reading about the dhole:
long, canid, rounded ears,
not fox, not wolf,
chattery, whistly,
as your cheeks fluff out
and look, there's paws,
fur, snout and tail,
less focused on reading
and more interested in
being a dhole,
a good way to learn,
