"everyone is using it" is such a wild argument for so many reasons. How are people actually being serious when they say it.
It's really easy to argue for an anamalous 'everyone', an idea of people rather than actual people, when that 'everyone' can't speak for itself.

I do not understand why anybody would defend a game dev using genAI for making a game, unless they had an agenda to push their own stock portfolio (and even then I think you suck as a person).
But otherwise, why be ok with a worse product? What do you gain from that?

I have a lot of frustration about how people try to sweep the fact that Clair Obscur used GenAI in development under the rug, and the Larian situation almost feels born of that.

I don't think I have the energy level to ever write a full blown book, but i have a lot of ideas. Today I floated the idea of just writing down the 'climax' segments of a longer story. Not have the entire character arc may not feel impactful for people not as emotionally tied to the character -

I'm playing Lethal Company again after a long time, for an Archipelago rando, and idk dude I think it is good when games are not made to be annoying on purpose which Lethal Company is absolutely is made to be annoying, on purpose.

I don't talk about it much, but I think a top 3 pokemon for me is Crawdaunt. I think he looks really cool and is so fun to use. I will always 100% of the time add one to my party if ever possible.
