Bishamon is the strongest god of war, but it is a position that she's earned through years of trials and tribulations, which have also lead to lots of hardship and agony. Whenever something comes to break her, she only ever comes back stronger. This made me want to incorporate the concept of kintsugi for her piece. Kintsugi is the art of mending broken ceramics and pottery by filling in the cracks with gold, thus highlighting the flaws as a celebration.
