A selection of nine portraits - mostly commissioned by various clients as well as two personal pieces. They’re all done digitally in painterly style with visible brushstrokes and deep colours. There are vampires, vieras, elves, lizards, dragons and other humanoid but ethereal creatures. Two painted book cover illustrations side by side, both showing a pale blond man and a brown-haired woman. The one on the left shows the figures lying down on the dark ground as they gaze longingly at one another. The one on the right has the man holding the woman in a dramatic pose as she awakens to her vampiric powers. Illustrations commissioned by Cat Rector for her novels: Coal Gets In Your Veins and Learning to Bleed. Two watercolour portraits displaying loose brushwork.
