Day 6 of the Vandalised Advent Calendar, and I cannot believe it. Another duplicate! The Citizen Cain Snow Globe I got for day 5, again for day 6! I'm sorry but duplicates are not very creative at all O_o

Day 4 of the Vandalised Advent Calendar, and i kid you not its the same decapitated snowman head as yesterday. But because i was being a smart arse yesterday and didn't show the front of the choc i can't prove it!

The yearly tradition of defacing my advent calendar is complete!
Its an advent calendar of santa in a sleigh with loads of presents and a snow man. ADDITIONS: - The white band on Santa's hat has "GIFT 4 LIFE" on it. - Santa is wearing shades, but due to the waxing on he cardboard box they aren't very well inked. - The moustache of Santa's beard has HO HO HO written through it. - There is a Ballin' watch on Santas wrist. - On the left there is a spooky ghost of a monster saying "I took a wrong turn at Halloween" - On the right a child is asking "Where are the raindeer" We the viewers are the reindeer kiddo. the actual answer to te question is "in the clouds, dear". - under the sleigh at the front is another child being crushed by the vehicle saying "I'm okay!" because i realised a vehicular accident wasn't really in the spirit of Christmas.

Another skyscape, we get some good'uns round here sometimes.
Bright dusk/dawn skyscape against silhouetted houses and trees and clouds alive with oranges, yellows, greys a little blue and a touch of pink. If you look really closely there is a bird on the second to last chimney.

Another self portrait, Number Two, which I would suggest is more of an environmental portrait where the scene says more about me than my actual leg does as the image itself isn't really that pleasant to look at...?
A silhouette of a leg. It's not overly obvious it's a leg, but it is. You can't see the food, there is a big block of black at the bottom as well as one at the top where a waist may be. Or not. The sides of the image have an unobvious refraction which breaks up the scene even more. There is what looks to be a bright white window in the background but it only goes as far as the leg in the centerso itself is inturrupted and shapeless... there are a few bits of other stuff but none of it is really obvious as to what it is. The whole thing is obscured and doesn't really make a whole lot of sense. So, an accurate self-portrait...?

A lot of noise in this image but one which managed to catch the scene exactly as I saw it there in front of me. Can't say I ever get many of those. Looks exactly like it was, on my screen at least although yours may not show it the same... may even show it better!
Image of a skyscape. unclear if it's dawn or dusk but there are heavy silhouettes of houses and trees. On the horizon nestled in the silhouettes is a small faint but warm orange glow low, low down. As our eyes move up the sky there are clouds of various altitudes. about half way to two thirds way up you can just make out the Terminator lines between day and night. In the top right there is a very, very small crescent moon and a single star near it, both are dogged by clouds.

Have been playing with the camera for the first time in over a decade. Here is my first self portrait of modern times:
"Self Portrait 1" - A photo of, in the far back far right side, my left foot in a sock. Not clearly a foot. upper right 3rd my left calf unclothed. Bottom right is some grey lined fabric, in this case a sofa cushion. almost 2/3rds of the left hand side going up to the top 5th is an out of focus device case, very much worn. There is some lettering on it but undecipherable. The top 5th on the left over 2/3rds to the right is some dark fabric. It all makes some kind of vaguely layered spiral shape, but with lots of straight lines.

I'm kinda sad i'll never know what the Milky Way galaxy looks like. We can see others nearby really well but our own, we may never see. At the same time I'm awestruck by being able to see the majesty of our galaxy we are in on the sky on a really dark clear night.

Now, think like that about people.

Hi @victorinoxofficial.bsky.social - wondering if there was a custom option for making a multi-tool? I really don't need the large blade but the small is useful for many tasks. Interested in a model with just the small, with scissors, pliers, magnifying glass, bottle/can openers and phillips driver?

Had a lovely time making some terrible comics just to give it a try creatively, so thought I'd pick up my old Pentax K3 camera and have a bit of a play again :-) Here's a photo picture what I done.

I was inspired by make a terrible comic day 4 months ago, I finally put some together. Here's my fifth one I hope it makes sense:
Panel 1 - Caption: "20 years ago", close up on an old folding style mobile phone, it has lines from it's aeriel to suggest it's making a call. Panel 2 - The caller facing us talking on the phone looking sad, voice on the other end says "Hey bud, what's up?" The caller says "Hi man, feelin' kinda down." Panel 3 - Looking down at the caller from above, they are saying in one speech bubble "All the issues, hardship, pain, suffering..." going on to another bolder speech bubble "...Just make it make sense." Panel 4 - Caption: "Today, 20 light-years away", we see the Milky Way galaxy with its myriad of stars. The voice on the other side of the phone's speech-bubble is coming from one of the stars, saying "Wish I could, man. Wish I could."

Inspired by #makeaterriblecomicday2025 four months ago, I've done made a short comic strip again:
Panel 1 - Someone next to an oven shouting "Grubs up!" Panel 2 - An above view of two plates with brown foodstuffs on them. one plate is full, one near empty. Speech bubble says "Hmmm? Not fair?" Panel 3 - Person moves one single piece from one place to the other. Panel 4 - Now the near empty plate is full, the previously full plate now near empty. Speech bubble "Oh, come on!" Panel 5 - Like panel 3, the single piece of food is moved back to the original plate. Panel 6 - The two plates now remain as they were in panel 4, the nearly empty one still nearly empty, and the full one still full. A close up of the persons face red with anger and their eyes going in different directions. The word "Fuck" is below in red.
