Greetings! I'm still hard at work on Mythborne and it's slowly going through a rework and refocus. While the main ideas of the game are intact, to recreate the feeling of cheesy adventure shows from the 90s, I'm also bringing in influences from cheesy Sword & Sorcery movies of the 80s!

We've just started working on the odyssey system for Mythborne. This narrative system gives your hero a quest in character creation and rewards them for each step they take towards fulfilling it. You'll get a sheet to record your Odyssey and see your character's story grow.

Here's a rough draft of the Mythborne character sheet. I'm debating on having the legend section being it's own sheet... For spirit and wounds I though red and blue would work well with a flame for spirit and a heart for a wound. You just put a line through them when you take damage. Nice and easy.

While Mythborne is balanced mostly for player facing combat and rolls, an alternative rule will be included in a later version that will allow you to play with the Myth Teller (GM) rolling for enemies. I believe in offering variety and options.
