If this had happened pre covid, i'd have taken her, without hesitation. But pre covid I wasn't fighting to be able to sit up and be human in a daily basis. I wasn't in pain, everywhere on a daily basis. I could take care of myself.
I can't anymore and i certainly can't also care for a kid

For background, my youngest sister is a permenant foster that my dad took in. She's my cousin's daughter so she is family and she's been with us since she was around a year old. She's now 15. I don't know specifics about what's happened but cps have called to relocate her, ideally with family still

And logically I know that me saying yes would be a disservice to us both, she would never had gotten the care she deserves with me, and I would push myself far beyond my capacity in the attempt to provide for her that i'd do permenant damage, but that doesn't make it feel any better

I don't often bring my IRL stuff here, this geberally isn't a platform I use for that but today I feel so guilty that idk what to really do with myself.
I feel like the world's biggest cunt for having to turn down a foster kid because I physically cannot care for myself let alone a 15 year old

I would like to say, I know next to nothing about American indigenous cultures (it's not remotely part of the Australian education) but I am so very happy to see people celebrating their culture and people!

I find if something breaks my face out it will work just as well as a body, hand or foot cream so you don't have to waste products that don't work in your face either~

For some reason people don't seem to realise your skin is skin no matter where it is and you can in fact use most of the same products everywhere! You just gotta be a bit more careful around the eyes to avoid eye irritation

if you feel it's messing you up, step away. don't assume it's messing everyone up and you need to eradicate it because you caught a case of the feel-bads from something. go sit with that and think about why instead of pissing in everyone else's cheerios.
