I'll be honest, I've completely fallen off playing. I absolutely hate the tier system for weapons and armor. The grind is so much worse than it's ever been. Is the game fun still? ABSOLUTELY. But making all my old stuff bad and needing to continually grind for slightly better new things isn't it.

ABC on Wednesday night pulled the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” late-night show off the air “indefinitely” after controversial comments by its host about the slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, and hours after the head of the Federal Communications Commission suggested ABC’s broadcast license was at risk.

Jimmy Kimmel, during his opening monologue for Monday night’s show, had suggested that Tyler Robinson, the man accused of fatally shooting Kirk last week at a Utah university, was aligned with President Donald Trump’s MAGA — Make America Great Again — movement.

“The MAGA Gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said.

We got on a 94 today around 3pm to get to Fells from Hampden. Was 10 minutes late and didn't show up on the app until we were on it, and magically 2 other go passengers were already there.

Watched the first three episodes of The Paper, the sequel series to The Office. So far I like a lot of what it's doing and will definitely finish the season. But I can't stand Esmeralda. The character is actively sabotaging things in more of an evil villain way, and not jealous coworker. #thepaper

Had my first play of Tianxia, the most recent game in the T series from Daniele Tascini. I enjoyed this efficiency puzzle with lots of combos and going up tracks. Deciding whether to keep my early Gen Con copy or sell before retail release.

Got to play Perch this weekend. This is a cute, quick, and cutthroat bird game about having the biggest or second biggest flock on the tile to score points. Some locations also give you special powers or control of creatures that can scare away other birds.

Final play of the week was 12 Rivers. This was a beautiful game on the table, very simple to learn and pleasantly tactile. I can see giving this one maybe 5-10 plays and then it's going to need something else added.

Other games played today, but not pictured: Flip 7 and Dro Polter.

Fliptoons! This was a delightfully quick and small box "deck" builder. It's a race to score 30 points with the top six cards of your deck. The cards interact with each other in fun ways and it's simultaneous play. The art is great too.

Cat and the Tower is a dexterity game where you're helping Toto the cat get to their mom.

We didn't beat the initial goal of floor 10. The game starts you off with these really lopsided pieces at the bottom. It's like rhino hero for adults as each style of wall is different sizes.

This is Gibberers, an odd game where you craft a new language and guess new words each round.

It's such an interesting and funny game, especially to listen to. One player said it was the best thing they've played in 6 months.
