Ballot consolidation did not occur and Ward 7 runs the risk of splitting the progressive votes again in 2025.

I proudly advocated for the change to make transit free for kids 12 and under in 2023, but extending that to 18 means more independence, less costs on families, and a stronger connection to our city.

Let’s make Calgary easier to get around for the next generation.

Not only do I champion inner city growth like transit-oriented development, but I’m willing to have those important discussions with those who are of opposing points of view at the doors to help find common ground and build a way forward from the current housing situation we’re in.

Because the voters in Ward 7 know that political parties don’t belong in City Hall.

The downtown cycle track was supposed to connect to the Bow River Pathway. Our FOI request shows that plans had even been developed back in 2020, but then the project was shelved after Terry Wong became Ward 7’s councillor.

Calgary already has decades of developable land inside its boundaries.
So why is Council restarting annexation talks for 415 acres in Foothills County, just to pave one short road?

Does anyone in #yycbike know of anywhere in Calgary where bike racks have been installed in 5m no-parking-zone around crosswalks/intersections to provide better intersection daylighting for pedestrians and bike lockup at the same time (and way cheaper than curb bump outs)?

It’s not necessarily about revoking (we do need protections for our tree canopy), but making sure the bylaw is right-sized to enable the desired outcomes. For example, are there creative solutions like pool noodle protections that can meet the needs of both tree protection and neighbourhood play?
