Wovenland is almost clinical in its presentation. Short descriptions of recording locations ("in the city, fire sirens") each have a corresponding approach ("playback speed is 8.5%"). The material is laid out on a dissection table. Sound are otherworldly, yet eerily familiar. [2/9]

I've finally managed to take the time to dive into Toshiya Tsunoda & Taku Unami's field recording project known as 'Wovenland'. There are currently 3 Wovenland releases from 2018, 2020, and 2024. Anyone into #fieldrecordings should dedicate some attention to this outstanding collaboration. [1/9]
