Is there such a thing as a “Where’s-Waldo-Party”?
Like the dress code is that everyone shows up in striped shirts/waldo costumes.
Then one guest gets secretly assigned as the “real Waldo” and everyone is trying to figure out who it is.

I was driving on the interstate & saw a Red-Tailed Hawk swoop down into the grass. I was immediately screaming “I LOVE YOU! “ & when I saw it stand back up with a small prey animal in its mouth I started cheering like I was at a football game.

I thought Godot was rage-baiting me when I kept typing up nice, error-free code; that was for some reason throwing errors.
Turns out I was just clicking play on the wrong scene 13 times in a row.

an adjacent tragedy is how when you're writing a video game in a team with possibly dozens of people who COULD read it, no one outside narrative will read a single thing you write until it's actually in the game. it just won't happen
one of the great tragedies of making a book is that the time you are most excited about it (when you are in the middle of making the damn thing) is, necessarily, the time when no one else is reading it
