How does Airbus’s _software_ update fix the solar flare problem? I don’t understand how rearranging the ones and zeros protects against radiation, which is a physical phenomenon. Wouldn’t these aircraft need some kind of hardware update?

I used to hate 911 Cabriolets, but for some reason I'm coming around on them now, especially with a whale tail.

Recently I rode in an airport shuttle whose driver was a former Boeing union line worker. He was run off his job (20 years!) after an injury. He was full of hate and vitriol for Boeing management, and execs in general. His parents worked at Boeing, he was a true lifer. It was a rough story. 1/2

Looks like we're getting some Max chaos after all.
However, in addition to the remaining point spread and McLaren's general consistency, I think Max's remaining obstacle is that he doesn't have a competent wingman to run interference in the last 2 races the way Checo so brilliantly did in 2021.
