What signal does this sort of to/fro send to the car industry and consumers?

UK should make some plans and stick to them but, of course, that's a pipedream - our politics is 1 step forward, 2 steps back meaning we get little done.

I like idea that Trump "loves London". 🤣

Has he been there? Walked the streets? Stopped in a pub? Wandered through the parks and galleries? Taken in a show? Ridden the Tube and buses? Done a bit of shopping?

Of course not, he's 100% clueless - he's no idea what London or Paris are like.

Not at all surprised to find that, having left BT a month or more ago, they continue to try and charge me for a service that they are no longer delivering and which they have long-since advised me has been terminated.

( how do these people stay in business? )

I've a feeling that a "Thanks for browsing our website" email has exactly the opposite effect than was intended.

For me, Royal Mail parcels works every time.

No idea why a business uses anything else.

UPS - random dates, times and lost parcels.

DPD - parcel goes to delivery hub miles away. Delivery hub denies all knowledge.

Evri - Parcel? What parcel? Have you checked your neighbour's bin?
December 5, 2025 at 8:48 AM
Today I learned that UPS can tell you that a parcel has left their warehouse when it hasn't.

( Hopefully, it's not lost in their warehouse along with my old hiking boots 🤣 )

Conservatives and Labour both on the #bbcwato lunchtime news explaining how great Brexit has been and how the future will deliver more of the same.

@financialtimes.com Find it a bit confusing that the "FT Digital Edition" is listed under your "Print" edition subscriptions and not under your "Digital" subscriptions.

It's the exact opposite of what I'd expect.

Seems like the BBC has edited a programme in order to give a misleading impression of something said by or about Trump.

Last time this happened, it was the BBC News top story.

This time, it's tumbleweed on the BBC site..

It's hard to phone the banks these days because they understaff their phone lines in the hope that you will use online chat which they have also understaffed 😉

Not long now until it's all AI and there's nobody at all to talk to.

This is not a peace plan. It is a proposal that weakens Ukraine and divides America from Europe, preparing the way for a larger war in the future. In the meantime, it benefits unnamed Russian and American investors, at the expense of everyone else.
