Very clearly, while choruses tend to the best known part, this feels some supression is involved.

Like I remember it in media when I was younger, but the only part they played was the "Whoop Whoop" bit.

I certainly can guess that cop film sequel Ride Away 2 isn't using it for it's verses...

You noticed they only play the chorus the "Sound Of Da Police" in media?

Maybe it's cus the verses are very explicitly anti-authority, unlike the refrain.
