📸 We're working with patients in the Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh to overcome challenges of managing type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Self-monitoring blood glucose meters and clay pot storage for insulin are bringing care closer to home, so people don’t have to travel so often to the clinic.

Her lab uses a ‘test and treat’ approach, giving fast, accurate results for sexually transmitted infections so that patients can get targeted medications that reduce the risk of antibiotic resistance.

Throughout the war in Sudan, Noor, Mohammed, Mawahib, and Nasr have seen their city, El Fasher, bombed, besieged, and destroyed. Today, from a refugee camp in Chad, they use their phones to bear witness to the suffering in their neighbourhoods.
