Received a card from an old school friend and she noticed I’d not been on Instagram for a few months. It was nice that she noticed. Three accounts and only one person noticed I was AWOL. I’m the one that notices and contacts people so I’m grateful to her for caring and asking.

We booked for a meal a couple of months ago to one of our favourite places in Northumberland. Supposed to be going today then I’d visit my sister & baby’s grave afterwards. Cancelled. No-one wants to go after yesterday. Can count on one hand how many times I’ve been out this year.

At least he’s working Christmas & Boxing Day so we can have a stress free day. Can’t wait for my present. He’s spoils me every year …🙄

Every year when I get in the Christmas mood husband says or does something to ruin it. Feel like taking everything down as no point in pretending it’s a happy time.

Another text saying I’ve a parking fine. Only places I’ve parked at lately are the GP‘s & garage for MOT. I think they’re fibbing. But hey they’ve given me until TODAY to pay before I suffer the consequences, lose my licence etc. “Follow the link & enter car reg”. You’d think they‘d know it 🙄

At my check up today I had to have my BP taken. Now I do this regularly at home but when the nurse put my arm on the cushion and put the sleeve on it I placed my arm on top of it instead of inside it. idiot!

Why are so many people now susceptible to propaganda and can‘t tell real images from AI? I followed someone on X for years who posted lots of funny things and seemed genuinely nice. Now she supports Trump, Putin and the likes of Farage and Tommy Ten Names. Have they hidden their true self for years?

Think we’ve received eight cards this year -used to get over eighty. One woman I worked with accepted cards from colleagues then announced she’d be donating to charity the amount she’d normally spend on cards. I’m sure the 50p she tried to sneakily put in our charity box was much appreciated.
