As part of our rainforest topic we have been learning about animals using camouflage as a defence mechanism. We then created our own butterflies and designed them to be camo flues in the classroom. Can you spot them? (2)

We have recently been learning about international aid and all the different people involved. We investigated some key terminology and worked in teams to match the names to the definitions. This prompted lots of excellent discussion. @rightsbeancross.bsky.social

We recently took part in a series of anti-bullying lessons. We really enjoyed taking part in one of the BBC Live lessons where we had missions to complete on our iPad throughout.

On Remembrance Day we learned about the significance of the poppy and then designed and created our own medals to show respect for someone we admired.

Today we have been learning about deforestation. In groups we identified, discussed and sorted both the positive and negative impacts into least to most important for people, animals and the environment.

As part of our rainforest topic we have learned to sort animals into different categories. Ask us for examples of rainforest mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians.
