I finally finished DK Bananza just in time for Pokemon ZA! It's crazy how huge of a difficulty spike it had right in the last layer but I was thrilled with it! I may get to the post game bananas eventually but for now finding 527 of them feels swell!

That's so incredibly hype I didn't realize formats like this were still alive on cartridge!

I always loved Gen 4 I felt like it had such a good balance of power and defense.

My teams in a new game are never stable I'll even replace my starter if I'm curious enough about another mon. E.g. my first scarlet playthrough I ended up really being fond of Bramblghast and stuck with it over Meowscarada a while even though I don't like it as much lol

Part of the fun for me in a new generation is wandering around and being like "oh shit what's what??" and then I'll catch it and play with it a while to get a feel for how it plays. By the time I beat a new game I usually have all the non-legends caught and trained a little.

I understand in the long run why people like leaks and I can agree to an extent. I'm kinda picky on what I wanna know lol

If it's like meta/stats/moves/etc. I'm down for it. But when it comes to a brand new generation I wanna know as little as possible about the new critters until I play.

Despite middling scores I am fairly optimistic because of reviews saying the combat is a lot of fun to play. That's promising to me considering it's clearly inspired by Xenoblade and I love fighting in those games!
