This is a worthwhile event to attend and to remember this day in history.
Residents are invited to the annual Halifax Explosion Memorial Service on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 9 a.m. at the Bell Tower in Fort Needham Memorial Park.
This event will honour those who were lost and recognize the resiliency, recovery and rebirth of our community.

Well there, snow has arrived, in downtown Lower Onslow Nova Scotia, overnight . Maybe this will be the only snow we get .... ha ha ha ...
Had to bust out the shovel, to remove 1 inch/2. 5 cm of snow from my deck, steps and walk ways

This is the BEST way to serve your community!! I enjoyed my years in many volunteer station serving communities!!. Give it a go and perhaps you are not a frontline firefighter, there are still many other support roles you can do behind the fire scene that are as important.
