Last ESBG event (2023) there was a presentation about a public swimming pool, retrofitted with straw.

At this year’s #ESBG2025 META2020 will demonstrate, again, how 80% of energy savings will be made using straw as a construction material to retrofit their site.

🇫🇷 France includes sequestered carbon in building regulation (RE2020) & has built over 10,000 straw buildings to date.

The UK still lacks regulation on #embodiedcarbon & #biobased materials are left out of policy, finance & scale.
