The difficulty, the enemy patterns, it all just works. The thought I had when playing, "This could be a Dreamcast game", and I mean this in the best way.

Also called #SakuraSamurai, this was one of the games recommended getting in early 2022, when Nintendo announced the closure of the 3DS eShop.

I think of this title as a dynamic rhythm game. Learn the various patterns to dodge enemy attacks, then strike precisely in just the right moment.

Anyway, here is #HanaSamurai: Art of the Sword on the 3DS. I beat the game in 5h35m, and enjoyed it way more than I had expected.

Hey, wild shot in the dark, does anyone want to play Absolum on Steam together?

Roguelite beat'em up from Dotemu (Streets of Rage 4) that released just a week ago. Seems super cool and co-op is supposed to work great.

Haha, (re-)watched the gameplay trailer that is featured on their Steam page. In the first 30 or seconds, I was like, man, they don't get it.

But then, some quipping between unlikely allies, and ... ARMORED SPACE BEAR fight!! Way more excited about this game now.

I played Vengeance about a year ago, and the more the game settles with me, the higher the soundtrack of the game climbs for me. At this point, in serious contention for my all-time favourite.

Horizon Zero Dawn is a slow burner for me. The more time has passed since I played it, the more nostalgic I get for this world. I go back to listen to Aloy's Theme from time to time, and it's always goosebumps for me.
