They're both great, but yeah they're very intense. I don't know if you like slice of life or cooking animes, but Solo Camping for Two, Laidback Camp, Campfire Cooking in Another World With My Absurd Skill, Food for the Soul, and With You and the Rain are great.

Lately, I'm struggling to find some joy. I know that part of it is my SAD (seasonal affective disorder) and the light therapy lamp does help a bit. The rest of it is just constantly fighting the bad brain things that happen with my anxiety and depression. I'm doing the best I can, but I'm tired.

Ron had his physical that he had to do for the new job and the doctor at the center there really said to him, "Oh, you don't look diabetic!" Excuse me? What does a diabetic look like to them? Diabetes can affect anyone. I wish I could say I was surprised by the ignorance and the ableism.

Did I take our dog for a walk in the rain to the post office and back so he could be his usual poop diva self? Yes. Would I do it again? Yes because he's a knucklehead, but he's our knucklehead and we love him. Ron was very annoyed (again) he pooped on our walk. 😄

You're gonna love it! You can turn down the scary in the settings if you want so the things don't attack your boat. It's what I did and the game still scared and unnerved me because of the great descriptions of eldritch horrors and storytelling.

I'm trying not to feel guilty about resting today. Ron keeps gently assuring me it's fine, that I can rest and play video games, read my book, and take as many naps as I want. I know he's right, just hard to fight that anxiety brain sometimes.
