We've done this for years - the Luftwaffe has trained out of Holloman AFB in New Mexico for decades, Singapore has a detachment somewhere, everyone who flies F-16s or F-35s has permanent rotations out of Luke AFB in Arizona, etc etc.

An important part of the wisdom that comes with middle age is nailing great nachos. I’ve got “Moroccan” nachos pretty well nailed: chips; a mix of gruyere, white cheddar, and Monterey Jack; canellini beans; lamb merguez with red onion; pico de gallo salsa; green olives, and dabs of harissa paste.
