I've finished my Forgotten Realms novel!
I'm really proud of it to be honest!
It's a story that deals with grief, guilt, and what it takes to start again after the loss of a loved one!
As well as a magical trans story!

I picked up @sarahbethdurst.bsky.social's book The Spell Shop yesterday at @waterstones.bsky.social and it's amazing! If it wasn't for my university assignment I'd be sitting down with a cuppa tea and binging it!
I'm only 80 pages in but its already got a recommendation from me!

I've been playing a lot of Elden Ring on the SteamDeck while visiting my parents.
Despite the near constant gloom and sense of death, disease, and corruption that cloaks the Lands Between like a miasmic fog, there are moments when it's truly beautiful!

I've just posted my review of the amazing Pokémon Adventures 4th Volume! I was very impressed with how this manga reworked plot points from the Gen 1 games to be able to tell an engaging story still resembling Pokémon Yellow!

Playing through Angel of Darkness for the first time with the #TombRaider 4-6 Remastered collection and it feels like so much of the gameplay betrays the foundation of the last 5 games.
It's no longer on a grid, unclimbable ledges, invisible walls, and so much more feels wrong here... 😟

I've been meaning to clean my desk for ages but #ADHD got in the way for 2 months. I had to treat myself to a new, larger, desk matt featuring a map of the Sword Coast, but I finally cleaned my desk!
My cute rubber duck collection is all together now too💙
I literally got my ducks in a row!

My game of the year this year is really tied between #TombRaider IV.V.VI Remastered and #Pokémon Legends Z-A, with #PowerWashSimulator2 being in with a very good chance as long as it's as good as the first game.
So far, I'm thinking Tomb Raider but only time will tell...

After finishing #PokemonLegendsZA, I can't help but feel like this is an amazing story that would have benefited from releasing a year or two after X & Y. Considering ZA is a sequel to a 12-year-old game, I feel like a lot of the call-backs and legacy characters won't be remembered by most players.

Yet we can't obey the green pact in any of the games and it's lame. I want my Bosmer to have to awkwardly explain to his party that he has to eat every enemy they just killed throughout the dungeon because of a pact his race made with Y'ffre, yes it's odd, yes he still has to do it!

Currently enjoying this new short story I'm working on, it's about a mismatched group of adventurers having to travel across a zombie infested kingdom for a chance to escape. Fairly basic concept but it's a good way to introduce the species of my world ^_^
