Yes I really think it's just a trend and they just repeat what others say without thinking or they use it as an excuse to hate on their squicks and notps.

Someone told me earlier antis used problematic excuse for abusive relationships to hate stuff but they change to whatever suits them

I don't understand antis and trying to defend toxic relationships. Why do they only hate a very specific type of potential abuse (incest/age gap) but everything else is fine.
Do they want to like something that would normally be considered "bad" that they have to use weak arguments?
