Missed a courgette that was hiding between two raised beds! (Baked beans can for scale!) Looks like that's the next few meals sorted! 🌱

New favourite place in the garden for a book and a pint is by the sugar snap pea jungle - free bar snacks, and I can spend time with the sprawling courgette monster too! 😁🌱

Hooray! Our kohl rabi bulbs are finally starting to swell up 😁 🌱

It's that magical time of year when everything is starting to fruit. Plums, apples, jostaberries - taunting us with their unripeness! 🌱

Our Pak choi has bolted in all this heat, but we don't care - we're treating it as a cut and come again salad leaf and it's both easy to grow and super tasty raw in salads! 🌱

Cute little hoverfly sunbathing by our pond this afternoon, just look at those colours! 🌱

Apple blossom, forget-me-nots, and bluebells. It's the most wonderful time of the year 🌱

Absolute top 10 part of The Rite of Spring is three quarters in where the tambourine gets to finally jam out for like 15 bars and then go back to reading a book or something

The bulb army is preparing itself... 🌱

Brrrrr! Good morning from my frosty walk to the office!

A cold and lonely morning on campus today - luckily I had our amazing trees to keep me company, like this giant redwood with a beautiful split trunk (not as tall as they get over in the States, mind!) 🌱

Just rescued this very sad looking fern, which the previous homeowners had left lying horizontally in a pot right at the back of the garden. It's been moved to a safer place to recover, but any ideas what it is? 🌱

Love looking at tree silhouettes in the early morning on my office days, they always brighten up a dark damp winter morning 🌱

Fox hunting is a disgusting relic of a cruel past. If you think slaughtering an innocent animal for 'fun' makes you powerful, think again—it just makes you heartless. Time to end this barbaric practice FOREVER.

Found these absolute gems in the front garden today, a vivid dark purple that the camera just can't pick it up (so use your imaginations!) 🌱

Working from the office today - lovely views as always! I know it's a managed estate, but there's some lovely old trees 🌱

Currently dealing with the stress of having our rising damp treated, so escaped into the garden after work to visit the Fascinating Tree™ that was calling to me all day 🌱

Definitely using our new Ring doorbell for its intended purpose - watching our family of blackbirds pottering around the front garden

Bellowhead in Bath were amazing as always! First time seeing The Longest Johns live as well, super awesome!

A nice surprise, but a very lonely flower in the garden today 🌱

The difference moving from a new-build to a house with an established "adult" garden is huge. Even taking the kitchen scraps to the compost heap in the pouring rain today boosted my happiness and turned the day completely around.
