I haven’t slept more than three hours a night for a few weeks now. I have made a dent in the amount of thesis work I have to do to combat the academic stress.

Solution: make lasagna and eat it straight out of the dish. Read the Silmarillion and GO. TO. BED.

I am having a not good day (week). Can’t sleep, very stressed, crying all the time. Autistic meltdown type.

Partner looked at me very softly and said: "You should not be waking. Eat earth! Dig deep! Drink water!"

Rest. He wants me to rest. Now I have spring rolls and a new squishmallow.

This is Guritz, my favorite orc in the movies. His commitment to the aesthetic is undeniably impressive.

Probably spent ages in Mordor figuring out his style. Eventually he settled on a somewhat rotting head, welded it onto his helmet and went: ‘Splendid’.

Sauron must have fucked with that. Hard.

I have had so many days in a row with three hours of sleep per night I can hear the earth. And she hates me.

We’re also having the worst storm in 25 years. I can feel it in the walls. My cat is terrified and has latched onto my side with every claw he has.

I need sleep😭

#Tolkientober Day 3: Crown

The day of the anniversary of Adar's death I wanted to go back to the parallel scene and recall when he and his children broke their chains by smashing Sauron down with his own crown👑

Their story might be doomed but I'll keep clinging to this feat😌
