I started a new #DATV playthru (i made my boy izzy :3c he's a mourn watcher now of course OwO) and while i liked the game well enough the first playthrough, I'm really enjoying it this time around. All the extra lore and characterisation you get as Ingellvar are really nice.

The low-angel Frieren meme is genuinely inspiring. Someone braver than the troops shares a picture they know turned out weird. Thousands start sharing their own art, offering advice and laughing together at something that is genuinely hard.

Decided to use terrible comic day to see if I could speedrun the #wolchefant comic i thumbnailed approximately a million years ago and i kind of did it? I'd still like to finish it properly, but you can see my vision :)

pages 1 and 2 if a 6 page final fantasy comic. Haurchefant invites the artist's player character, Hazel to go star gazing on the camp dragonhead battlement, and share a hot drink. While gazing at the stars, Haurchefant shuffles closer to Hazel, who looks away bashfully. Haurchefant pushes his mug away along the battlement's edge. pages 3 and 4 if a 6 page final fantasy comic. Over several panels, Harchefant and Hazel's hands bump up against each other, fingers tangling together and finally, Hazel takes Haurchefant's hand in his. Finally their eyes meet, and they lean in for a kiss. Hazel's mug rolls off the battlement and falls down to the camp ground below, startling the guard on the gate, who in turn startles Hazel and haurchefant. Haurchefant leans over the battlement yelling apologies, before sheepishly meeting eyes with Hazel again. pages 5 and 6 of a 6 page final fantasy comic. The tension of the prior moment dissolved, both of them burst into laughter. As Hazel quietly laughs to himself, Haurchefant's hand reaches for him again and pulls him into a kiss. Hazel's elbow bumps the thermos they brought with them, sending it toppling to the ground as well. Once again it lands with a crash, ostensibly on the guard's head, who swears loudly. Haurchefant yells more apologies from the battlement to the aggrieved guard below.

Seeing the Bill Watterson originals full of pencil lines of stuff that didn’t work, scuffs the eraser didn’t pick up, white out galore and more was something I needed to see to remind myself that nothing is perfect the first go and tweaks need to be made and you’re allowed to try again.
