I stumbled upon “In Shock” by Rana after my septic shock debacle (better than What Mr MM calls it) and it spoke to me on a level that I couldn’t explain. I tell everyone about her story. And remind people to stop dehumanizing patients, stop and listen. But what happens after the shock.

I should add almost 6 years after my brush w septic shock I’m still learning to reinhabit my body. I think I go in the oh it’ll be fine. So I appreciate your words. I’m like the chaotic energizer bunny. Your voice allows me to stop and pause. ❤️

I found out yesterday. Also it is coming out on my birthday!!!! I feel like it’s a personal gift to moi! Seriously I sat and watched a few of your presentations, speeches etc this past weekend. Trying to come up with words to tell people to care. ❤️

Can you do that for me too. But I seriously don’t know what I want. Norepinephrine molecule for saving me from septic shock? (Albeit painfully), something to commemorate my 11 pregnancy losses and 3 living children? Or something cool to cover up my ORIF femur scar.

Mr. MM & I had an argument >20 yrs. I went to lay down & his gun was on my trashy romance novel. Later he accused me of moving his gun. I told him if I was going to murder him a gun is not the way I would do it. I don't like messes or noise.

@ranaawdish.bsky.social I should have contacted you for for food recs before we headed to Henry Ford for an appt for my MIL. Granted we'll likely be there again. We tried Grandma Bob's and then bombed on breakfast/lunch today before we left. Also all clinicians were awesome.

So 13 doesn’t want me to know her type of fanfic she reads. Me: you’ve seen my kindle books. Her: yeah dad calls it smut. Me: I prefer trashy smut/romance/bodice rippers. All genres. Her: I try not to open the kindle app at school because of this. Amazon needs a way for me to prevent this.

I should add I was told essentially if I see something to send it to others to handle. Me: ok and the way it was phrased gave me enough pause that I’m doing my best for those issues to be reported by others.
