People seem to misunderstand that when someone detransitions, that's still a form of gender dysphoria. It's not shameful in any way, and I hate that they pin us against each other as if both of us aren't dealing with a similar ache.

Life's too short to be an asshat. We all deserve the same love.

And on the counterargument-- I have a few friends I've made who are detrans, and you know what? We both made the best choices for ourselves.

Gender is messy, and with our looks-based society it's even worse. That doesn't mean we run out of time to be ourselves. Two things can be true at once.

also-- you know how much my mental health has improved SINCE I've transitioned???

Nobody in my life had ever seen me be happy before. I still struggle, because my issues are lifelong and it's just a part of me. But I used to cry daily. That's not an exaggeration. Sobbing.

The amount of adults that did not take me and so many others seriously when we said we were suffering was baffling to me, even as a kid.

I was having full-blown anxiety attacks, dealing with MDD, and BPD. And it took me years to get help because people wouldn't listen, and I just stopped talking.

it's just morbidly hilarious to me that the outcry of "BUT WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS??"
when they've created a world many of us do not want to live in anymore

I'm always open abt my own mental health struggles, but I don't think the cishet population knows how many of us are inches away from doom

wow it's almost as if the g0v is tracking personal data and they know it could be traced back to them and/or their parents and suddenly the number drops lower and (totally unrelated) the s*icide rate goes up for queer kids (that will just be "regular" kids for stats)
