I watched it again just recently after seeing One Battle After Another. Hadn't seen it in at least a couple of decades. A wonderful film.

Being a lifelong fan of westerns, The Searchers is my favorite of the bunch -- but what a bunch!

Here's something for those of you who use free ad-supported streaming services. I was just checking it out myself. It has some live sports content, lots of movies and TV series. A lot of dedicated live channels like Pluto, Tubi, etc.

I wish the Regal near me (even closer than Cinemark) hadn't closed. Even though it had gotten awfully run down, they still had some smaller films they didn't book at Cinemark. And they'd have had this run of classics.

Wow. I guess Sleepy Hollow is an older movie now. That hadn't occurred to me. 😂 I kind of liked that one, actually.

I'd forgotten about Silver Bullet. Not even sure if I ever saw it. Probably did on HBO or Showtime in the 80s. 🤷‍♂️

Good Fortune starts Friday, so I will have something to see!

That's kind of the feeling I got from the trailers (but then I don't really trust trailers). And I get that it's based on a true story, but it does all seem kind of silly. 🤷‍♂️

I guess the next thing for me is the Springsteen movie in a couple of weeks. Black Phone 2 doesn't look up my alley. 😂 ⬇️

😂 There's no doubt in my mind that it will be the kiss of (competitive) death (for most of the season) for anybody I draft high on Tuesday night. Although, since I've now lost 3 of my first 4 picks in the football league, maybe basketball will even out a bit. 😂

Yeah, that's me. It's been years since I've been to a movie on a Saturday or Sunday. And I usually go to a morning or early afternoon show (or a Thursday 2 p.m. preview). So I'm always surprised by crowds. 😂
