I mean that's why he's a demon in the first place, he found out it was possible to achieve an immortality and higher form with it so he wanted to see it through, regardless of cost. He's driven by curiosity.

i think in-universe later down the line Alex n March would get a proper place together outside an apartment, so march could have a better alchemy/lab set up. But it would 100% be like an edward scissorhands type of deal with a scary looking house in the middle of a uniform suburb lmao

I'm gonna make my own typeface for Harebrained because i am not insane and writing every page by hand lol, and i want something more personal than a default typeface. March is probably gonna have his own font though
